An afternoon in the kitchen, surrounded by the aromas of fresh tomatoes, basil, and good wine, to discover the secrets of authentic Tuscan home cooking

As in every true Tuscan family, good food and traditional recipes are passed down from generation to generation
Today in the kitchen at Pieve de’ Pitti, Ida will reveal the secrets of Tuscany’s oldest and most traditional recipes: from fresh egg pasta, soups, and fried specialties, to—above all—game dishes
A classic menu, inspired by the flavors of the Tuscan countryside, with a few secrets revealed from family recipes
The program includes the preparation of a 4-course menu featuring Tuscan specialties made with typical ingredients from the Terre di Pisa: extra virgin olive oil, traditional unsalted bread, seasonal vegetables, local fagioli schiaccini, and Chianti wine
The class begins at 4:00 pm, with aspiring chefs guided on a culinary journey through the genuine products of our land and the flavors of our home cooking. At the end of the lesson, all participants will enjoy the dishes they prepared during dinner in the Limonaia, which may also be open to other guests.*
All aspiring chefs will be provided with the necessary ingredients and kitchen equipment, along with a complimentary Pieve de’ Pitti apron.

Price:
€130 per person (for 2 chefs)
€90 per person (for 4 chefs)
